From Brewery to Ballroom: How Sinclair Came to Be
What is now Sinclair was once a dark, outdated brewery in Sandy Springs. For Gabrielle Mecca and Maxine Levenson, founders of Edge Design Group, the question was not whether to build their own venue but how to ensure it reflected 25 years of design thinking.
Proportions, materials and finishes were chosen deliberately. High ceilings allow elaborate floral installations. The neutral palette makes any color story work. The outdoor terrace functions as a genuine extension of the ballroom rather than an afterthought. The private bridal suite includes its own en suite, positioned to give the wedding party a distinct, unhurried space before the celebration begins.
The transformation was completed in 2025. The result is a 9,000-square-foot venue that looks like it was built by people who have spent decades inside other people’s events, because it was!
